Results and updates

Today we had great news that all our blood results were clear and we are able to proceed with the surrogacy. YAY!!!!!
Hubby and I are going to stay in San Diego for the night to celebrate, Can't wait.

My IP's are going to be here February 21st and I am beyond excited to meet them. We have been emailing back and forth so we can get to know each other better. We always include what foods we enjoy, where we want to go when they come to the US, all about their excitement to become parents again, YES, they have a little girl already she is 4. She was born at 6 months and was very little and Laura experienced an extremely hard labour and delivery. Laura then had to get a hysterectomy so that's where I come in. I can't wait to carry a baby for them. They are such genuine people and deserve all the happiness they can get. IS IT FEBRUARY 21st YET????

Medical screening

Ultrasound
So I had my medical screening done today and good news, everything looks perfect.
I received a pelvic exam, an ultrasound of my uterus and ovaries and a Hysteroscopy, which is a small camera that goes in through the cervix and into the uterus and fallopian tubes to check for cysts and to check the pathway is all clear for when the embryos are transferred. My husband and I also got our bloods done.

The thought of having the camera part done was really scary, but I didn't feel a thing (except for the damn clamp), other than that things went very smoothly.
It was actually really exciting seeing inside the uterine cavity, and it came right at the perfect time while I was doing the reproductive system in school (training to be a nurse). So I got to see everything up, close and personal. I loved it!

Back next week for blood test results.

Psychological screening

So I passed my psychological screening. This process is to ensure that I will NOT want to try and keep the baby in the end.

I was evaluated with a series of questions online along with a phone evaluation - which took 40 mins.

next step...medical evaluation.
